Jo Yuri, who returned 8 months after “GLASSY” in 2021, has returned with the series.
The first mini album, “Op.22 Y-Waltz: in Major,” which announces the opening, expresses a flexible attitude toward ordinary daily happenings through a waltz.
Yuri Jo interprets ‘waltz’ as an attitude toward life. ‘Y-Waltz’ contains both Jo Yuri’s initials ‘Y’ and the word ‘Why’, so it can also be interpreted as an interpretation of ‘why she dances.’
In this album, you can see Jo Yuri with a more mature visual through a version with calm and static gestures and a version with a rhythmic and cheerful feeling. In the music video for the title song “Love Shhh!,” Jo Yuri suddenly dances in the city and spends time in strange places, but she shows a cool side that doesn’t care about past loves at all, making it like a teen movie.
Additionally, you can experience Jo Yuri's diverse charms in each track. It consists of a total of five songs, including the cheerful, lively and confident title song “Love Shhh!”, the sweet ballad song “This Time”, and Jo Yuri’s self-composed song “Opening.”
In particular, the last track, “Opening,” foreshadows Jo Yuri’s new appearance in the future, and the first track, “Round and Around,” contains the hope that this will be an album that you will want to listen to again and again after listening to all the tracks and returning to the beginning.
, which will now begin in earnest, aims to show Jo Yuri's growth as a solo artist. We hope that the album “Op.22 Y-Waltz: in Major,” which is the beginning of this story, will be an album that brings excitement and excitement to artist Cho Yuri.
