The third story of VERIVERY’s ‘FACE it’ series from 2020, [FACE US], has arrived, containing a story about a new world created by ‘us,’ formed through the connection between ‘me’ and ‘you.’ [FACE US], a story of the plaza and the hope called ‘us.’
Numerous attempts and reckless connections made in an effort to face the ‘me’ and ‘you’ who felt alienated even amidst constant communication have finally reached the hope called ‘us.’ The world reconstructed in VERIVERY's own way is free of pretense, alienation, and disconnection; everyone's identity is vividly alive, and through solid connection and understanding, they have finally arrived at a plaza created through creative destruction. As [FACE US] is the third episode of the ‘FACE it’ series, it will showcase VERIVERY's unique music and high-quality performance. Fitting the message of ‘a new world of our own,’ they will draw everyone's attention by showing a transformed appearance in various aspects, including music, choreography, and style.

As the lyrics ‘Go beyond the barrier’ in the title track ‘G.B.T.B.’ contain VERIVERY's ambition to leap over barriers and move toward a new world, a more intense piece of music was born, and the powerful choreography that intuitively expresses this adds completeness with even more precise synchronized dancing. In particular, the choreography matched to the song's tempo and the movements expressing the organic connection between members are expected to elevate the already proven status of VERIVERY's performance.

The jackets and music video for [FACE US] stimulate the five senses by sensually expressing the ‘story of the plaza and the hope called us.’ In the jackets, the individual charm of the members was emphasized to show the arrival of a new world (plaza) created by various egos. Through the medium of beams of light (lasers), the album's message of ‘moving forward’ is intuitively expressed, and objects that can represent ‘space’ were used to convey the meaning of ‘crossing over into a new world.’ In particular, the charm of VERIVERY was doubled by maximizing the contrast between the intense concept of military looks combined with techwear and the comfortable, bright feeling of denim looks.
The music video contains the message of ‘being together’ through the solid connection and understanding of members of a world without pretense, alienation, or disconnection. Through the circular space of the main set, the image of expanding sound is maximized, and technological elements such as satellites and server rooms are used to express that VERIVERY's message is being delivered worldwide. In particular, VERIVERY's even more intense performance expands the scale of the music video and adds power to the message the members wish to convey. As such, [FACE US], the third story of the ‘FACE it’ series, will act as an extension of the previous albums [FACE ME] and [FACE YOU], representing and comforting youth who feel alienated and disconnected, and instilling a sense of solidarity that they are always together.
DIY content that increases in completeness through independent attempts.
VERIVERY's signature ‘DIY content’ has returned with the active participation of the members and increased quality. [FACE US] will be the most complete DIY content in the ‘FACE it’ series. In this DIY album, under the theme of ‘the good world I imagine,’ it shows the process of growing deep within while repeatedly contemplating the reason for living in a lonely and solitary reality and finding goodness in small things.
The props and background colors appearing in the jacket images were personally selected by the members, reflecting their individual tastes and personalities, which is expected to make this the most interesting album for VERRER. The DIY music video to be released later is raising expectations as it features a completely different concept from the title track 'G.B.T.B.' music video. It is scheduled to be produced using the members' self-composed song 'Gravity of Preciousness,' and will convey a deep story about the confusion and process of overcoming it faced by VERIVERY as artists and as youths living through their prime. For this DIY music video as well, member Minchan personally took charge of directing, filming, and editing, and the passionate acting of the members is expected to stand out.

The title track 'G.B.T.B.' is an electro-trap song armed with a blend of dimensional 808 kick bass and brass sounds, aiming to deliver the third message of the 'Face it' series more boldly and dynamically, accompanied by a relentless build-up of shout-outs. It powerfully conveys a hopeful message that after facing oneself, you and I, and we, are connected and can eventually welcome a new beginning by leaping over any obstacle together.
