H1GHR MUSIC - EP [PINK TAPE]

Global hip-hop label H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS has reunited once again with a new compilation, [PINK TAPE], approximately five months after the release of the compilation album [PURPLE TAPE] last April. This album features pH-1, lIlBOI, Woodie Gochild, and BIG Naughty, who participated in [PURPLE TAPE], as well as Y:SY and Simon Aron of H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS, capturing a more diverse and expanded musical palette. Artists with distinct personalities and styles naturally traverse their respective domains to create new combinations and synergies under the name of H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS. The EP [PINK TAPE], consisting of six tracks in total, is an album focused on a lighter and more public-friendly sound than [PURPLE TAPE]. Much like how mixing water into a deep PURPLE creates a soft and refreshing PINK, the album maintains the tone and texture of its predecessor while being filled with music that can be enjoyed more comfortably and familiarly. Each track vividly highlights the individuality of the artists while simultaneously demonstrating the musical spectrum of H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS through various genres and combinations. The H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS compilation series, which began with [RED TAPE] and [BLUE TAPE] in 2020, completes a new chapter with [PURPLE TAPE] and [PINK TAPE] in 2026. Each 'TAPE' encapsulates the music and relationships of the artists comprising H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS at that time, as well as the direction the label aspires toward. As a result, [PINK TAPE] has been completed as an album that goes beyond a simple compilation of various artists to capture the process of colors blending and spreading into new hues. By layering current musical colors upon the unique compilation tradition of H1GHR MUSIC RECORDS that has continued since 2020, it showcases a strengthened solidarity among artists and the overall trajectory of the label.
