‘Well-made OST’ Welcome Special OST Album Released KBS2 ‘Welcome’ continues the drama's emotion with a Special OST album… Total of 35 tracks included The full soundtrack for the KBS2 Wed-Thu drama ‘Welcome,’ which became a hot topic by producing global records with high-quality music spanning various genres and a diverse lineup of vocalists, will finally be released. ‘Welcome’ is a subtle companion romance drama about a cat who turns into a man and a woman who is like a puppy. It is a warm youth fairy tale featuring Hong Jo (Kim Myung-soo), a cat-man who devotes his entire cat-life to loving one woman, and Kim Sol-ah (Shin Ye-eun), who goes all-in on love even if she might get hurt. It left a lasting impression on many viewers by delivering a fresh story progression and vivid emotions to the living room. This special album consists of 2 CDs (35 tracks), adding 22 score tracks that anchored the drama and doubled the immersion, in addition to the 13 previously released songs. The album will include a lyric book and booklet featuring unreleased stills from ‘Welcome’ to continue the emotion of the drama. The album features ‘Dayoung X EXY (WJSN) - Amazing,’ a heart-fluttering and fluffy track unusually pre-released before the drama aired; ‘Park Kyung - Ding Dong,’ which highlights a sweet romance sensibility; ‘Umji (GFRIEND) - Welcome,’ featuring impressive, warm, and lovely cat sounds as the title suggests; ‘JUNIEL - I Must Have Fallen in Love,’ highlighting acoustic guitar and a breeze-like tone; ‘Jinsoul (April) - I was wrong,’ filled with soft and delicate expressions of regret after a breakup; and ‘SLUSH’ by indie idol ‘Motte,’ which expresses a fluttering atmosphere in a unique way. Furthermore, it includes 13 vocal tracks in total, including ‘Kihyun (Monsta X) - Spring Again,’ which drew attention through a lyric-writing contest with a 2000:1 competition rate before its release, expressing the desperate heart of hoping for spring to return after letting a loved one go; ‘Jinsoul (LOONA) - Time Goes Around,’ which produced amazing records such as ranking 1st on iTunes charts in 30 countries and 3rd on the iTunes Worldwide chart immediately after its release as her first OST; ‘Drew Ryan Scott - Better To Be You,’ which sparked much curiosity among viewers before its release; ‘Floody - Goodbye Now,’ expressing longing for a past love with a sweet piano melody and a clear voice; ‘Chan of A.C.E - Show Me You,’ containing the excitement of a love that has just begun; ‘Shin Ye-eun - Shooting Star,’ featuring emotional lyrics expressed directly in the voice of the protagonist, Sol-ah; and ‘Choi Nakta - Flowers Have Bloomed,’ a ‘ear-boyfriend’ track sweeter than flowers carried by the spring breeze.
