The time for MAMAMOO Moonbyul's
‘Dark Side’ to turn ‘On’
The repackage album [Dark Side of the Moon], commemorating Moonbyul's 1st Ontact Live [門OON], has been released.
Ontact Live [門OON] is the first online concert by a MAMAMOO member, specially prepared by Moonbyul to comfort fans who could not enjoy a performance through direct ‘eye contact’ at a venue, and to make eye contact through the heart.
[門OON : REPACKAGE] includes tracks from the previous album, as well as the new songs
and the title track .
The album's intro, , is a track with a charming, dreamy atmosphere that completes Moonbyul's own [Dark Side of the Moon] worldview. It expresses the confusion of absence, feeling that my day—which reaches pitch-black darkness on ‘a single moon’ since the beginning of the universe—and my day—which breaks into pure white—are different and cannot face each other, but ultimately accepting the fact that they fatefully coexist even after circling twelve times.
The title track is an impressive song with honest lyrics that resent the different flow of time in their hearts, feeling as if they are still in a dark ocean even while spending time together. Synth sounds over emotional piano and acoustic guitar melodies capture these precarious emotions intact. In particular, the previously released performance video teaser received a passionate response from fans for expressing complex inner emotions through delicate choreography.
Various performances and LIVE stages that have never been revealed, along with rich stories told in Moonbyul's private space—recreated by taking full advantage of the strengths of an online concert—will be premiered on May 30th at 7 PM on NAVER V LIVE [MAMAMOO CHANNEL].
