A business-card-like album containing the unique style of Lee Jin-ah, who dreams of music like candy. “I want to become a Candy Pianist and be a source of strength for people, waking them up with beautiful harmonies and melodies.” Pop-jazz singer-songwriter Lee Jin-ah makes a comeback after a long time with the EP [Candy Pianist], following the single released last May. The album title [Candy Pianist] is a compound word combining 'Candy,' a word with a colorful and sweet image, and 'Pianist,' embodying her ambition to present a new genre of performance and music filled with her own sensibility. The title track, 'Dream-like Alarm,' is an impressive song featuring Lee Jin-ah's signature sound of cheerful, bouncy piano playing and lyrics that imagine the small joys of daily life; it was created together with producer Simon Petrén, with whom she collaborated on 'RANDOM' released in 2017. By utilizing everyday objects such as pencils and desks as musical sources, she completes a cute yet rich sound that provides an enjoyable listening experience. The overall theme of this album is 'awakening,' which is clearly revealed through the alarm motif of the title track 'Dream-like Alarm' as well as tracks like 'Noisy Everywhere (Feat.
