MAVE:’s 1st EP ‘What’s My Name,’ capturing their new journey. “On the Way to My Origin The story of all of us heading out to find our true selves” MAVE:’s 1st EP [What’s My Name] is an album that captures the journey of MAVE:, who has crossed over from IDYPIA to the real world, traveling through the present to discover who ‘I’ am. Passing through the unknown and confusing daily life of the real world, it explores who I am and contains the girls' bold cry and declaration of war, saying, “We will eventually end up laughing,” even when facing hardships and adversity. Through MAVE:’s 1st EP [What’s My Name], we look through a pure, childlike lens at the unfamiliar yet exciting scenes of the girls on their way to My Origin to find their true “selves.” Having awakened to the real world, MAVE: begins with the first track, ‘Everyday,’ questioning ‘who I am’ and ‘where I came from.’ In the following title track, ‘What’s My Name,’ they throw a message about identity to those of us living in the present: where, how, and why we came here. “Ready? Assemble!” In the subsequent third track, ‘Assemble,’ there is a confident ambition to face and enjoy any hardships and adversity that may come in MAVE:’s own way. In the following fourth track, ‘Milkshake,’ with its bright and kitschy mood, you can fully imagine MAVE: living and confidently enjoying the present under the theme of ‘My life is mine!’ In the final song, ‘So Fly,’ which best captures the message that ‘We will finally be able to laugh,’ you can feel the free and cheerful emotions of the girls.
