송소희 - 1st EP [공중무용]

I live my life choosing from endless paths. No matter where I go, the path I take will become my own, so I face every road as if dancing a passionate dance. And upon those paths, I cheer for the loves that greet me. My first mini-album [Aerial Dance] is a new path I have discovered within myself. It is 'Nature,' the place where my voice began and where I feel I am most alike. This 'Nature' serves as the backdrop for the four songs in this album. Within time, there are fields, deserts, oceans, and forests, and within them, I speak of various forms of love. 01. Day and Night Song (晝野曲) Fields, Even those who have loved and been together for a long time often grow numb to each other's kindness as time passes. On the afternoon of an ordinary day, while walking through the fields together as always, I hope that the gratitude that was fading and the tender times known only to us will resurface upon glancing at your face. [A quiet 'waltz'-style track based on classical piano inspired by Nordic pop. The melody is delivered with a soft voice, and the sound builds up as a combination of a dream-like string section and synthesizers layer in arpeggios.] 02. Aerial Dance Desert, We who live in the desert. In this endless expanse, we live while searching for our own paths. However, the way does not always seem clear. When I am confused and filled with doubt like this, I look at the 'me' inside of me. My heavy heart is released. I float into the air. As if throwing myself into that red sun, I dance a passionate dance for myself. "Ganggangsullae" [An ethnic-mood electro-pop track expressed through a voice and melody line that melt in Korean sensibilities.] 03. Against the Deep Sea Ocean, Even precious relationships have their struggles. It is like being in the deepest, darkest part of the ocean. This relationship, which has sunk to the point furthest from the sun, feels as though it is descending into a seabed of deep darkness, never to reach the sun again. Yet, you and I are still breathing life into one another. I wish to rise again. [An electro-pop sound track where warm harp arpeggios and cold synthesizer pads meet like opposing fire and ice over a drum breakbeat.] 04. Deer God Forest, I love the work 'Princess Mononoke.' The Deer God, my favorite character in the work, governs life and death—that is, life itself. The 'Deer God' I sing of could be any object, but it is also the deep inner self that exists within everyone. We all live searching for life from our own 'Deer God.' To me, life is love. [A song created to feel exciting yet mysterious, with synthesizers and percussion working in harmony and drum sounds adding rhythm.
