With their 7th mini album [ROUTE ZERO : The ORA], xikers surpassed their previous album's first-week sales record within just four days of release, achieving a new career high. They also made their presence felt across various global music charts upon their comeback and have continuously expanded their touchpoints with fans through fan meetings held both domestically and internationally. xikers now embark on a new journey in response to the voices of their fans.
Having opened the door to a new narrative series with their 7th mini album [ROUTE ZERO : The ORA] last May, xikers begin to choose their own path as a single error created by a controlled world.
One day, standing on 'ROUTE ZERO' where all coordinates have been erased, xikers hear a familiar voice. The voice that began in a space repeating daily grows clearer with time, gradually gathering the ten children who had been left alone in their respective places into one spot.
Though their appearances and the places they lived were all different, there was one thing they shared: the fact that none of them had been given 'coordinates.' To those who had been left alone and considered themselves defective, each other's existence creates a small crack in that helpless belief.
This 8th mini album [ROUTE ZERO : The CALLING] depicts the story of the ten xikers who, having discovered each other's existence, find their own path, and portrays them moving toward an unfamiliar journey that no one has ventured on yet, stepping away from predetermined coordinates.
Facing countless possibilities and an unknown journey with no set answers, xikers move forward with only their faith in one another as their compass. And they unravel the energy of willingly moving forward amidst that unrestrained movement and uncertainty through music unique to this album.
Even if everything blurs upon waking, they will surely find each other within the intense memories that cannot be easily forgotten.
