A member of 'One Direction' and a complete solo artist!
"Louis Tomlinson"
Louis Tomlinson
His debut album, which captures every single step he has taken as a solo artist!
Walls
“Two Of Us,” the first single released from this album, which expresses sadness and loss in Louis's own unique way;
“Walls,” an impressive track with soothing lyrics reminiscent of a classic orchestra and 90s Britpop;
“Too Young,” a fresh and subtle acoustic track.
The members of One Direction are continuing their individual solo activities, each releasing solo works that amplify their own unique characteristics. Louis Tomlinson has likewise consistently released great singles. While the single 'Just Hold On' with Steve Aoki, released in 2016 after the hiatus of One Direction, was a great success, it gave the impression that the full album was being continuously delayed. And after a fairly long wait, Louis Tomlinson's debut album has finally reached us.
His debut album [Walls] is a work inspired by the stories he heard as a child and by his idols. There are also several 90s Britpop-style moods; while Louis Tomlinson's singles after One Direction showed strong influences of EDM and synth-pop, he states that this solo debut was influenced by Arctic Monkeys and Oasis.
For four years after One Direction, Louis Tomlinson had to face various changes, and through [Walls], he proved that he eventually overcame those barriers. These songs, created under uncertain circumstances, were recreated into a new result through beautiful guitar tones and Louis Tomlinson's husky vocals.
[Walls] is a work that captures every moment of Louis Tomlinson, who has silently taken one step at a time as a solo artist. He is showing a worldview that has expanded by one level compared to his past works. Let's listen to the debut album [Walls] right now, which is filled with songs where you can sense the landscape of Louis Tomlinson's soul, enriched through many arduous processes.
