The release of KEY's Japanese original single 'Tongue Tied' has been confirmed for Wednesday, August 7th!
KEY's first Japanese original single, featuring his continued versatility and diverse charms, will include a total of two tracks: the title track "Tongue Tied" and the B-side "Fresh."
'Tongue Tied' is a pop-punk song that leaves a strong impact with a heavy kick drum as the main element, accompanied by western guitar, marching sounds, and a whistle. It uses witty lyrics and KEY's unique vocals to express the moment of being so captivated by someone that you are left speechless.
'Fresh' is a dance-pop track centered around a light synthesizer and a four-on-the-floor rhythm, blending with KEY's refreshing vocals to express the feeling of being unable to escape the excitement of someone all day long.
The limited editions (Freaky Ver./ Unrealistic Ver.) and the regular edition (Occult Ver.) each express the somewhat mysterious and dreamy worldview of the title track 'Tongue Tied' through different visuals, making this a work where you can fully enjoy KEY's charm not only through the music but also through the packaging!

8月7日(水)にKEYの日本オリジナルシングル『Tongue Tied』(読み方：タング タイド)の発売が決定しました！
多彩な魅力でマルチな活躍を続けるKEYの、初の日本オリジナルシングルは、タイトル曲「Tongue Tied」と、カップリング曲「Fresh」の全2曲を収録。
「Tongue Tied」は、重厚感のあるキックドラムをメインに、ウエスタンギターとマーチングサウンド、ホイッスルによって強烈なインパクトを残すポップパンクとなっており、相手に心を奪われ言葉に詰まる瞬間を、ウィットに富んだ歌詞とKEYのユニークなボーカルで表現。
「Fresh」は、軽快なシンセサイザーとフォー・オン・ザ・フロアのリズムを中心に、KEYの爽やかなボーカルがマッチしたダンスポップで、相手に対するときめきから一日中抜け出せない様子を表現した楽曲となっています。
