YUJU - 2nd Mini Album [O]

Yuju's second mini-album [O], marking her growth as a solo artist. Through this album, which likens life to a journey, Yuju takes time to look back and record her own footprints. Organizing the numerous crossroads, choices, and emotions she encountered to reach where she is now, Yuju looks toward where she will go next. In the picture Yuju is painting, where exactly is she now? ∵ From the moment we are born, we all embark on our own unique travel paths. This is why many people describe life as a "journey." The album [O] is my small travelogue; within it, I introduce and record moments across each track, while simultaneously expressing my desire to cheer on the journeys of many others who are sailing and running fiercely in their own places. This album begins its story with a somewhat heavy first line, "We tormented each other for such a long time," but it concludes with the sound of a playful laugh on the final 5th track, as if a refreshing reconciliation has taken place. In this way, the flow of all emotions circling on a journey where hatred and love, confusion and stability all coexist resembled a large circle, which is how I decided on the album's name. In a sense, this is the first time I've chosen an album title based on the "meaning of a shape" rather than the "meaning of a word." Right now, there will be more things for me to experience in the future than what I have gone through so far. That is why this journey is exciting, frightening, and precious. Not just for me, but for your journey as well. Through this album, I sincerely hope to cheer on all those journeys that will be rugged at times and sweet at others.
