Apink 10th Mini Album 【SELF】
An album that shows Apink's true self, their original essence!
Imagine your own world without any interruptions! Apink's message of hope, 'D N D'
Now in their 13th year since debut, Apink—who are walking the path of a perfectly long-running idol group through constant challenge and growth—release their 10th mini album 【SELF】.
Returning after a long time with a bright and cheerful concept, Apink's 10th mini album 【SELF】 uses a word meaning one's true self or ego, conveying the meaning of existing as 'me' in my original form, rather than as someone else wants me to be. To showcase Apink's true selves to the maximum within the album, all members set aside excessive adornments to reveal their individual personalities.
The title track ‘D N D' of the 10th mini album 【SELF】, which carries the meaning of 'Do Not Disturb,' is a pop-dance genre that suits Apink's signature bright mood. It is an impressive, fresh song with high phrases and a sense of groove that maximizes Apink's vocal abilities. It contains a message of courage for those who have lost hope without finding their own colors, telling them to imagine their own world since no one is disturbing them.
In addition to the title track, the album includes a total of 5 songs: the R&B pop-dance track ‘Withcha’ which highlights Apink's sophisticated tone; the ballad ‘Me, Myself & I,’ written by member Park Cho-rong, which contains a message of comfort; ‘Candy,’ a fan song for Apink's 12th anniversary written by member Kim Nam-joo; and ‘I'm the Only One Who Needs to Know,’ which was released to celebrate their 11th anniversary since debut.
