PURPLE KISS - 6th mini album [BXX] (POCAALBUM)

- “Don’t be nice and do whatever you want!” - “Bad Behavior”, a message delivered by ‘PURPLE KISS’ who returned as cute bad boys The 4th generation girl group ‘PURPLE KISS’, which has always shown a variety of performances and developed a unique world of music, will release its 6th mini album [BXX] on March 19, 2024, in a different form from before. [BXX] is an abbreviation for Best Friends Forever, BFF, where FF is converted to XX, and captures the loyalty and friendship of the six members with XX chromosomes. This album, which combines various personalities, allows you to fully enjoy the free and hip energy of PURPLE KISS. The title song ‘BBB’ is a song that contains free vocals and hip sensibility over strong bass and minimal trap beats. It contains the aspirations of those who have been forced to be nice and turned colorless to become villains who willingly face the world to regain their colorful colors. Rather than dreaming of romance or fantasy, it portrays PURPLE KISS as a group that has gained ground in confidence through a proactive attitude of facing reality and seeking change. In addition, through unbalanced concept photos that evoke some strangeness, such as using a ribbon as a prop in a black leather outfit or wearing a unified outfit of white T-shirt and jeans among colorful clothes, it breaks down the prejudices of those who force uniformity and presents a new paradigm. The music video maximizes the keywords of the album by capturing the appearance of a mischievous villain through unique camera angles and vivid CG. It delivers a message of freedom and confidence to people oppressed by society through actions that are not criminal but difficult to understand in common sense, such as hanging on a basketball hoop or playing with each other by painting. In addition, ‘Intro: Crush’ is a unique sensibility that combines PURPLE KISS’ sophisticated vocals with a refreshing sound, ‘BITTER SWEET’, which tells the story that love is always accompanied by joy and sadness like sweet yet bitter dark chocolate, ‘Toy Boy’, a self-composed song by Nagoun, a member of the hip-hop R&B genre, and a self-composed song by Chaein, a member of Synthwave, centered around a synthesizer reminiscent of a pounding heartbeat. A total of 6 songs are included, including ‘Heart Attack’ and member Nagoeun’s self-composed song ‘Voyager’, which compares the progress toward a dream to a sailor sailing the wide sea. In this half-crazy world, it's against the law not to look at the beauty properly.
