[Album introduction]
WONHO 1st Full Album 〈SYNDROME〉
- 10 types of love diagnosed by Wonho
symptoms
Wonho is an artist who speaks through results. We have grown steadily through vocals, performance, and songwriting, and have guided the fandom through global activities.
It has been expanded. The tone was announced with pre-released singles 'Better Than Me' and 'Good Liar', and the pieces are combined into one flow in the first full-length album, 'SYNDROME'. So
The reason for the expectations is clear. Not a one-shot hit, but sound, visuals, and narrative.
The ‘current arc’ looking in the same direction is clearly revealed.
Because.
- Symptoms left behind by love, three
dog's temperature
This album traces the reactions that remain in the body and mind after passing through love. The heartbeat of the beginning (ONSET), the middle of the fever (FEVER), everything has passed
Reverberation from behind (FALLOUT). Instead of grandiose drama, it depicts emotional ups and downs following changes in tempo, tone, and vocal resolution. When you listen to it, it flows smoothly, and after you finish listening, the scene remains clear.
It is a composition.
- ‘if you wanna’, ‘now’ instead of hesitation
The title song 'if you wanna' is a pop/R&B track with Jikjin's message, "If you want, let's get closer now." Elastic bass, tight drums, and synths that take advantage of the blank space create a minimalistic sound.
Creating a groove, Wonho's flexible vocal operation brings the colorful city night and the burning heat within it to life.
Deliver. Lyrics that talk about choices, not guessing, concisely
Even the hook that gets stuck. This is the song that most accurately represents the attitude of this regular album.
The 10 songs in the album reflect the same theme at different temperatures. ‘Fun’ starts with a mixture of restlessness and emptiness, while ‘DND’ starts with an overheated feeling.
It depicts the moment when the noise of a relationship is cut off. ‘Scissors’ contains an R&B groove with breathing that becomes clearer the more you cut it, while ‘At The Time’ and ‘Beautiful’
Strings and layered harmonies warmly bring back the texture of memories.
‘On Top Of The World’ has a neon retro mood.
Rushing forward, 'Good Liar' calmly gazes at the realization in the face of repeated lies. 'Maniac' harshly pushes against the shadow of obsession that emerges at the end of overheating,
'Better Than Me' closes the lingering feeling by resolving the gap between determination and regret, saying, "No one will love you as much as I do." The choice to use different vocal textures and breathing for each song fits together convincingly within the larger framework of ‘symptoms.’

How to talk about change. This is where Wonho sounds most convincing right now.
As a result, ‘SYNDROME’ is “symptoms of love heard through Wonho’s voice.”
Summed up in one sentence. The tone was shared through pre-release twice, and it was released on a regular basis.
The narrative was completed. Now all that's left is to prove this in three dimensions on stage.
The first full-length album will be a stepping stone to expand Wonho's global activities to the next level, and the sum of vocals, directing, and arrangement shown in this album will become the baseline for the next project. leaning
Simple. “What language and speed does Wonho grow in?” and
The answer will become clearer in the next chapter after this album.
