STAYC pioneered their own freshness and bright energy with a new genre called TEENFRESH. The first full-length album, released four years after debut, contains StayC's hidden growth story, "I eventually became who I wanted to be," and expanded the musical color with various included songs. “The woman I continued to covet without even realizing it was actually the person I would become.” Through the trailer video, StayC brings out the self that was hidden deep inside her, faces each other, and achieves the feat of being reborn as the woman she longed for. Now that they can achieve what they want, they bring out their dormant instincts and succeed in a sensuous transformation [Metamorphic]. In this title song 'Cheeky Icy Thang', StayC reveals a cheeky side that has never been seen before. They are cool as ice (Icy) but also have a hot and cheeky (Cheeky) attitude. In addition, all Stay C members participated in writing lyrics for the fan song ‘Stay WITH me’ included in this first full-length album. In Gokje, only the fandom SWITH is written in capital letters, implying that it is StayC's fan song for Sweet. It added meaning to STAYC's first full-length album because it contained a message in the members' own language expressing gratitude for the love of fans who always supported them when they were afraid or worried.
