[Album introduction]
‘X’ is a medium for Wrong, Refuse, and Liberation.
The girl in ‘X’ meets universal standards
If you don't fit in, you live in denial and oppression, shaken by the world's gaze that tells you it's wrong.
I have never felt for a moment that I fit that standard.
The girl who tried to force herself to fit in, even pretending to do so, eventually came to one question.
“Can’t I be loved for who I am?”
A girl who can't accept being different
I decide to liberate myself from being oppressed.
I know how painful it is to convince yourself, but I'm not used to being rejected.
Even if her heart aches every time she fails to do so, rather than becoming ‘the best of who I am not’, she becomes ‘the worst of who I am’.
Decide to live.
The ‘X’ of the stigma attached to the girl like her tailbone.
I become free by drawing another ‘X’ on top of it.
In negative daily life, the same symbol ‘X’.
In the ‘X’ music video,
It is a mark, a border of prohibition, and a stigma of failure. On the line drawn by the world,
Kiko and Somin don't stop.
The moment we meet each other,
That ‘X’ is no longer prohibited.
It becomes our password, a joke,
Finally, there is an exit — X-IT (Exit).
‘X’ starts from pain, to laughter
It spreads,
In the end, the two girls tear apart the world of negativity and run.
X IT — Beyond prohibition, into freedom.
