MONSTA X MINI ALBUM 'FANTASIA X’ * The peak moment, the hottest version of us that we must face... 'FANTASIA X' * A record of Monsta X's five years... a clear upward curve sweeping through Korean, American, and Japanese charts. From the fierce debut survival show, the moment of their first music show win, a world tour consisting of 25 performances across 20 cities worldwide, the 'Jingle Ball' tour with 120,000 spectators in 6 US cities, 1st place on Japan's Oricon Chart, to 5th place on the US Billboard 200. For Monsta X, every moment until now has been a challenge. The reason Monsta X was able to captivate fans even on the other side of the globe was solely due to their solidly constructed content. By consistently showcasing trendy music, music videos that connect their universe, and powerful performances, they gained the empathy of global fans and are praised for showing another possibility for the K-pop market. Accordingly, fans' expectations for this album are exceptional. Monsta X's MINI ALBUM 'FANTASIA X' presents an expanded universe on a blockbuster scale. Through this album, Monsta X delivers the message of 'one's unchanging value.' "We repeat trial and error every day. Nevertheless, we create tomorrow without rest. We must put in a hundred efforts to barely obtain one thing, and even that slips away easily. Just as a fierce process makes one stronger, I set out to find a place where I will not be shaken, even amidst the rough storm of jealousy and envy, and expectation and disappointment, pouring down upon me." 'FANTASIA X' speaks of the place where I belong, the hot moment of that first emotion felt. This simultaneously implies a strong will not to lose their original intention and a determination never to become weak. Like their lives, in which they fight a war with themselves every day, this new album 'FANTASIA X' contains the new world that Monsta X will record once again. Furthermore, the visual performance, which is indispensable when mentioning Monsta X, will once again confirm a much more intense and mature aura than before. The title track 'FANTASIA' is a song that highlights Monsta X's signature energy and power, directly conveying the ambition and energy to break through everything blocking their path. Ethnic melodies and dynamic synth sounds blend with a tight rhythm to create an intense atmosphere. The sub-title track 'FLOW,' produced by Jooheon, is also impressive. The arrangement, which alternates between pop sounds, intense synths, and Dub sounds, creates a dynamic feel. While emphasizing Jooheon's characteristic driving rap and intuitive hook, the delicate details were not missed through an emotional melody. The album showcases Monsta X's unique musicality by arranging a variety of tracks, including 'ZONE,' produced by member I.M, who is expanding his territory as a producer like Jooheon; 'Chaotic,' which completes a grand scale by combining dubstep and rock sounds; and 'IT AIN'T OVER,' a sophisticated synth-pop style song where one can glimpse the members' restrained sexiness. While this album is on the same line as previous works, it tells of another possibility. Therefore, the dominance of each track and the distinct team color have actually deepened. One can also feel the maturity and musicality of the members that was not fully felt in previous albums. 'FANTASIA X' is an album that solidifies Monsta X's clear identity and will serve as a signal flare in the K-pop scene that turns challenges into certainty.
