Jinyoung Park, an artist who has firmly established his own artistic world through music and acting, has returned with his second mini album [Said & Done]. He has steadily expanded his own musical world based on his emotional tone and delicate expressiveness, starting with the single ‘DIVE’ in 2021 and through his first solo EP [Chapter 0: WITH] in 2023, he clearly showed his direction as a solo artist by honestly expressing more personal and intimate feelings. Since then, he has moved between music and acting, naturally capturing life's worries and moments of growth in his works, and continues to communicate artistically with the public at his own pace and language. [Said & Done] starts from moments that Jinyoung Park has had in his heart for a long time. The music of the era in which he was born and raised, memories of his childhood, and emotions that have faded over time were gathered together and woven into a single narrative. Times are constantly changing and people live in different ways in each place, but this album quietly focuses on the one emotion that ultimately connects us, ‘what remains in the end.’ The album name ‘Said & Done’ contains the meaning that ‘even after all words and emotions have passed, what remains in the end is love.’ Rather than providing any clear answer, it starts from very small, personal feelings and makes you reflect on what ultimately remains in your mind. In this way, this album quietly reminds us of the feelings we still want to hold onto even in each person's life. From pop-sounding tracks with a 90s vibe, R&B with impressive jazzy brass, dreamy dream pop, and male-female duets with detailed emotional lines, this album is filled with music that Jinyoung Park can express most deeply and naturally as a musician. The message he wanted to convey became clearer, and musically, he boldly crossed the boundaries of genres, organically blending the various colors of music that had influenced his work so far. In particular, he completed more diverse tracks by collaborating with various artists such as Wonpil, Choi Yu-ri, and Cloud, and through this, he faithfully expressed his musical desires and sincerity, further raising the level of completeness of the album.
