A feast of brilliant starlight, ‘Starlit of Muse’
Moon Byul's first full-length album [Starlit of Muse], proudly presented as a ‘21st century muse’, is called ‘Muse’s Starlight’, which means ‘the work (starlight) completed by Moonbyul (Muse).’ Like the starlight embroidering the night sky, artist Moonbyul, who will shine forever with her very existence, unfolds the work she has worked on for a long time to its fullest with this full-length album.
The keyword of this work, ‘Muse’, means ‘an inspiring being or force’ and represents ‘Moonbyeol’, the muse itself. The nine muses from each field of Greek and Roman mythology are projected into various forms within Moonbyeol, completing it into one muse, ‘Moonbyeol.’
In addition to the concept film, which stands out with its gorgeous and dreamy visuals, the organicity and completeness of the album concept were added with unique teasing content, such as holding a special exhibition where you can feel the album's theme, and highlight medley content in the form of a music docent where Moonbyul directly explains the included songs.
Moonbyul presents a double title song for the first time in her solo album, showing the differentiated personality that only Moonbyul can pull off. The first title song, ‘Think About’, which was released in advance, is a work that keeps coming to mind and depicts the feeling of wanting to be together wherever you go through the addictive melody and lyrics. Moonbyul’s cool vocals and the strings that come with it are a song that gives you a warm feeling of excitement. The second title song ‘TOUCHIN & MOVIN’ is a song that convinces you that you can ‘TOUCHIN’ and ‘MOVIN’ your heart with just this bold touch of funky guitar and brass. With multiple genres harmonized in one song, you can feel the charm of variety in every moment you listen, and Moonbyul's energy is captured through a powerful and sophisticated performance.
The regular album [Starlit of Muse] contains a total of 12 songs, including double title songs (Think About, TOUCHIN & MOVIN) and Moonbyul's two self-composed songs (Like a Fool, After Sunset), and demonstrates Moonbyul's wide musical capabilities without hesitation.
