[세트] 라포엠 (LA POEM) - 미니 2집 [The Alchemist] (Platform Ver.)

LA POEM 2nd mini album ‘The Alchemist’ If life is a journey to find the value of the unchanging and most precious things, where does the driving force come from? La Poem finds the answer within itself and writes a new chapter in the narrative of overcoming fate. When ‘SUNRISE’ begins after ‘THE WAR’, a stormy war overshadowed by the ‘full moon’, in search of the ‘oasis’ in the desert that I have been searching for, La Poem provided warm comfort and sympathy and moved forward to a hopeful tomorrow. After a fierce battle, we prepare for a new beginning to win the crown as a stronger person. La Poem chose ‘The Alchemist’ as a message of positivity, resolving the devastated hearts of a life like war and pledging new leaps and prowess. This album, which shows the power to face fate without being broken as an independent self, condenses the emotions honed as if practicing alchemy. From Choi Seong-hoon's solo lyrics to Yoo Chae-hoon's composition and jacket photography, all members actively expressed their opinions from the initial concept, making the members' participation more prominent than ever. Minseong Jeong improved the quality of the sound source by leading the entire mixing stage of the sound source, and Kihoon Park raised the quality of each track by coming up with various ideas suitable for the song. The ensemble, which combines La Poem's narrative, emotion, and vocals in a variety of genres that combine traditional crossover as well as pop, rock, and electronica, is expected to leave a magical mark in the hearts of many people, as if performing musical alchemy. The title song ‘The Fire’ contains the determination to overcome any hardships and adversity by lighting a small fire in the heart stronger. Following the previous work 'THE WAR', producers ENAN and Sun Ahn, who delicately worked on the twists and turns of La Poem's unique energy, took out the sword of narrative just for La Poem early on. The powerful vocal energy delivers a deep, lingering emotion and allows listeners to draw their own narratives of overcoming destiny. The pre-released song 'Anchor', which was released prior to this, was completed with the participation of producer Brother Su, who is active in the K-POP scene by working with BTS, Blackpink, Monsta X, etc. La Poem's unique sorrowful yet majestic vocals deliver heart-warming consolation. Other tracks are filled with a mysterious and majestic atmosphere, like alchemy through music, raising expectations. The intro ‘Find The Light’ announces the beginning of the first journey following a small ray of hope in the darkness that was the background of the previous work ‘THE WAR’. The track ‘We’ll stay’, written by member Choi Seong-hoon for the fandom ‘LA VIEW’, also stands out. It contains a message of friendship and hope to comrades walking together through a desolate desert, at the moment of listening to each other's hearts on a long journey. In the verse part, member Park Ki-hoon's outstanding tone and Jeong Min-seong's sweet vocals harmonized perfectly to complete a fairytale-like track. The track that will provide the final twist of energy is ‘Blast’. It contains lyrics about the courage to face a great fate and the will to overcome any hardships that may come in the future. Leader Yoo Chae-hoon participated in composing the song with June One of the band ‘Glencheck’, showing a majesty that goes beyond grandeur through the combination of strong electronica sound and crossover.
