Jay Chang - 2nd mini album [Neighborhood] (Photobook Ver.)

Jay Chang 2nd Mini EP [Neighborhood] Where have I gone that I miss when I was young? The distant memories of childhood are recorded as stories. Some people recall memories through writing, and others through melody. Because memories are not infinite, we constantly record them and miss those times. ‘If only I could go back.’ Sometimes, assumptions that one hopes will come true become a piece of prose. The fire crackling and burning, the sound of words coming and going across the living room, my cat welcoming me, everything was full of warmth. Because of the kindness I realized within it. I write one word and tell you this song I sang. Track 01. Paper Cut “My heart is paper you’re tearing” The combination of the bland intro melody and electric guitar sound is impressive, and Jay Chang's explosive singing ability in the second half fills the sound richly. Because the size of the wound was as large as the amount of love for the other person, I cannot believe in the love I will receive next time. When will a heart that seems to be breaking soon be able to heal? Even if we put torn paper back together, we do not call it new. A heart that has been repaired incoherently, a heart that has been sharply torn into pieces. It conveys the pain of separation by comparing an infinitely weak heart to a piece of paper. Lyrics by DINT, EUGENE (HIGHBRID), Jay Chang / Composed by Choi Hansol (SSF SOUNDZ), Kim Hwan (SSF SOUNDZ), EUGENE (HIGHBRID), DINT / Arranged by Kim Hwan (SSF SOUNDZ) Track 02. LaSalle Ave “let’s go back now to LaSalle Ave” This song features a vintage sound from the 1970s and a modern style based on the R&B, funk, and soul genres. Combined with Jay Chang's unique voice, it creates a rhythmic atmosphere. When they think of their hometown, some people say they feel warm because they have memories, but others say they feel lonely because they can't go back to that time. ‘LaSalle Ave’ is a space where Jay Chang recalls his childhood memories, singing about the familiar air and scenery and the childhood memories he wants to return to. Lyrics by Jay Chang / Composed by RODA, Jay Chang / Arranged by RODA Track 03. Four Seasons “Because with every season / Comes every reason to start again” This is an old self-composed song by Jay Chang that contains a lot of the artist's affection. The harmony of the band-sounding electric guitar and lyrical vocals is impressive, and it is a song that expresses Jay Chang's four seasons. The seasons present different scenery at every moment, but my heart remains unchanged and presents eternity. One year, two years, the accumulated time forms a deep rapport with the other person, and the preciousness melted in the song conveys warm feelings to the listener. It sings of an unchanging heart amidst changing seasons, a consistent heart toward the other person. Lyrics by Jay Chang / Composed by Jay Chang, DINT / Arranged by Jay Chang, DINT Track 04. What You Need (Feat. TAG) “Tell me what you need” ONE PACT's TAG participates in the lyrics and features, showing a sensuous chemistry with Jay Chang. The bass riff and whistle in the introduction are impressive, and the combination of Jay Chang's bold and cool singing and TAG's original rap arouses the listener's interest. There are people who actively express their feelings to others and people who express them cautiously. Although the way it is conveyed is different, the feeling of being able to do anything for you can be seen as the same. WHAT YOU NEED He also says he can do anything you want. Singing exactly what you feel, it presents a heightened moment. Lyrics by DINT, TAG / Composed by DINT, EUGENE (HIGHBRID) / Arranged by EUGENE (HIGHBRID), DINT [Credit] 1.
