Pre-orders for , the first mini album from the rookie group ‘TOO,’ who will be active on the global stage, begin today (23rd).
is the album that marks the beginning of TOO's 'REASON FOR BEING' series. Just as the group's name, ‘Ten Oriented Orchestra,’ signifies an orientation toward Eastern values, the album expresses those very values.
In this album, the story of '인(仁)' (Benevolence) is unfolded in two versions: the ‘uTOOpia’ version and the ‘dysTOOpia’ version. It is garnering high expectations with components that embody TOO's unique Eastern worldview, including not only a photobook but also transparent name cards and folding screen photocards. Meanwhile, TOO's 1st MINI ALBUM will be released on April 1st and will be available at online and offline stores nationwide thereafter.
01. Magnolia
The title track ‘Magnolia’ is an intense dance song mixing trap and Europop, featuring an impressive, powerful performance reminiscent of Eastern martial arts. It expresses the process of searching for a lost utopia (uTOOpia) through the medium of the Magnolia in a world that transcends time and space.
02. 오늘은 이만큼 (Take It Slow)
A dance song with a funky rhythm and cute lyrics about wanting to love you for a longer time, so deciding to love you only this much today. The ensemble created by the simple instrumental play adds to the cuteness.
03. 피어나 (Don’t Fear Now)
A mid-tempo pop sound song containing a confession that the existence of 'you' is blooming in my heart like a flower, and love is gradually growing. The composition, which starts from a simple melody line and gradually develops, is also like the blooming of a flower.
04. 기억해요 (Remember)
A song that unfolds the story of trials and frustrations that anyone experiences in daily life through beautiful lyrics. It is an R&B ballad featuring a warm soliloquy that comforts both oneself and the listeners.
05. You Can’t Hurry Love
A hit song released by The Supremes in 1966 and widely loved after being remade by Phil Collins in 1982. It has been reborn with an arrangement highlighting a joyful swing rhythm, cheerful guitar, and brass sounds. Combined with the members' rhythmical vocals, it is a song where one can feel an even brighter energy.
