Stray Kids to Release New Mini Album 'THIS & THAT' on August 7
Stray Kids will announce their grand return as "global top artists" with the release of their new mini album 'THIS & THAT' on August 7.
This new release marks their first album of 2026 and their first in approximately nine months since SKZ IT TAPE 'DO IT'. The trailer content for 'THIS & THAT', featuring a surreal setting where a space of freedom and comfort unfolds the moment one encounters Stray Kids, has ignited anticipation for their comeback. The video drew significant attention by depicting an individual entering an unidentified trailer, playing an LP, and putting on headphones, at which point the track 'THIS & THAT' begins to play, leading them into a mysterious world filled with the group. The unrealistic direction—where every person appearing in the video, including a barista, chef, photographer, auctioneer, dancer, and bakery clerk, bears the faces of the Stray Kids members—completes the mysterious atmosphere and aligns with the group's symbolic phrase, "Stray Kids Everywhere All Around The World."
Prior to the release of the video, which unfolds the message of being a presence that is always together through a cinematic story, the new digital single 'RUN IT', released on June 24, also heated up the hearts of fans worldwide. 'RUN IT' incorporates world beat rhythms based on brass sounds and marching drums, embodying the immense energy of Stray Kids as they expand into a larger world, having already solidified an unrivaled presence in the global music market. Proving the enthusiastic response from fans, the song ranked first on the iTunes Top Songs chart in 43 overseas regions, including the United States, Australia, Brazil, Canada, France, Spain, and the United Kingdom on the 24th, and topped the YouTube Music Video Trending Worldwide chart from the 24th to the 27th. This track will be officially included in 'THIS & THAT'.
Stray Kids has confirmed 'RUN IT', a title reflecting their ambition to surpass limits and move toward victory, as the name for their new world tour. Through the 'Stray Kids World Tour ', they will continue the momentum of the 'Stray Kids World Tour ', their largest-ever world tour which concluded in October 2025 with 56 performances across 35 regions, by visiting mega-stadiums worldwide. Notably, they will launch the tour with five performances at the KSPO DOME in Songpa-gu, Seoul, and further demonstrate their presence by becoming the first overseas male artist to hold a solo concert at the Tokyo National Stadium. All five Seoul performances of were sold out immediately following the opening of ticket reservations.
Having demonstrated outstanding skill as the first artist in the world in 2025 to enter the U.S. Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' at number one for eight consecutive albums and standing tall as headliners for mega-festivals across the globe, their first album of 2026, 'THIS & THAT', is expected to anchor their worldwide activities. Furthermore, following their appearance at 'The Governors Ball Music Festival', New York's largest outdoor music festival on June 6 (local time), they will solidify their status as "performance leaders" by headlining the Brazilian music festival 'Rock in Rio' on September 11, as well as 'STRAYCITY', a new festival centered around Stray Kids held in three Latin American regions during the same month.
