‘xikers’ achieved its own career high with its 7th mini-album [ROUTE ZERO: The ORA], achieving first-week sales exceeding the record of its previous album within 4 days of its release. In addition, upon their comeback, they highlighted their presence on various global music charts and continued to expand their contact with fans through fan meetings both domestically and internationally. ‘xikers’ is taking a new step in response to the voices of their fans.
Last May, ‘xikers’ opened the door to a new world view series through their 7th mini album [ROUTE ZERO: The ORA]. They begin to choose their own direction as an error created by the controlled world.
One day, ‘xikers’ standing on ‘ROUTE ZERO’, where all coordinates have been erased, hear a familiar voice. The voice, which started in a space that is repeated every day, becomes clearer as time passes, and slowly brings together the ten children who were left alone in their respective places.
The appearance and the places they lived were all different, but there was only one thing. The fact that there were no ‘coordinates’ given to anyone was the same. For those who were left alone and considered themselves failures, each other's presence creates small cracks in their helpless beliefs.
This 8th mini album [ROUTE ZERO: The CALLING] depicts the story of ten ‘xikers’ who discovered each other’s existence and find their own path, and the images of those who break away from the set coordinates and head toward an unfamiliar journey that no one has yet been on.
‘xikers’ face numerous open possibilities and an unknown journey without an answer. We move forward using only our faith in each other as a compass. And despite that unstoppable movement and uncertainty, the energy that willingly moves forward is expressed through the music unique to this album.
Even if everything becomes blurry when you wake up, you will definitely find each other in powerful memories that cannot be easily forgotten.
