The symbol of youth unfolding with the sensibility of DRIPPIN [Beautiful MAZE]
A story of modern youth who repeat love and separation, excitement and agony.
In April 2023, DRIPPIN, who showed off strong performance and maturity by releasing [SEVEN SINS] in a highly complete world view, is making a comeback in about a year with the fourth single album [Beautiful MAZE], which captures the symbols of youth.
This single album [Beautiful MAZE] captures the emotions of youth in various genres of music, from the title song 'Beautiful MAZE', which compares love and separation to a maze, to 'Get LOUD', which gives refreshing yet exciting emotions, to 'Black MIRROR', which contains the agony of two selves, the virtual 'me' and the real 'me'.
The title song ‘Beautiful MAZE’ is a NEW WAVE genre song completed by combining UP-TEMPO rhythm with Synth-POP sound as a base. It unravels love and separation in a distorted way and the pain of not being able to escape from those emotions through the medium of ‘maze’. By placing a faint whistle and a rising Drum n Bass rhythm in the intro, it stimulates immersion and emotions and instantly draws you into the flow of the song.
In addition, this music video sets up a structural emotional area called a maze, and captures the story of growing up through the process of love and separation, eternity and regret, like a chase and chase game of tag, and expressed the moments of escaping from the bondage toward new salvation in DRIPPIN's unique way.
The second song ‘Get LOUD’ is an attractive Future-Funk style dance song with a refreshing sound of Synthesizer and a bouncy Slap-Bass. It expresses the lively youth by combining fresh lyrics that capture the excitement of falling in love.
The third and final song ‘Black MIRROR’ is a kitschy dance song that combines the disco-funk genre with strong synth sounds. It repeats strong attack kicks and snares in a simple structure to provide a well-made mood and aggressive groove. In addition, the lyrics are attractive as they contain the agony of which of the two selves - the self portrayed on SNS and the self in reality - is the real me, and the mirror reflecting the two selves is expressed as 'Black MIRROR'.
DRIPPIN, who will meet the public with a different youth concept from their previous work, will establish a new territory of their own through this 4th single album and will continue to meet a wide range of global K-POP fans through various channels.
