Rosé First Single Album -R-
[About]
Blackpink's Rosé is embarking on her first career as a solo artist.
The first single album ‘R’, which contains more delicate emotions and her own narrative, expands the scope that Rosé will create as a solo artist in the future.
Rose will continue to take on challenges with more mature music, performance, and diverse charms, and rewrite her own genre.
[-R- Introduction]
Rosé's first single album -R- is named after the first letters of Rosé's name and means ‘the first start as a solo artist.’
The title song ‘On The Ground’ is a song created through collaboration between talented foreign producers such as Jorgen Odegard and Ojivolta, The Black Label’s representative producer TEDDY, and 24. The tense, mysterious sound, combined with Rosé's unique vocals that flow smoothly, provides a new pleasure that has never been felt before. The lyrics, which say that I have always run towards a higher place, but the important value lies within me, make us realize once again what we have missed while living in this era. We hope that Rosé will be able to share the message she wants to convey in her first single album through her more mature appearance captured like a movie, her vocals that are sweet and delicate but at the same time powerful and harsh, and her resonant song.
This single album, which contains a more mature appearance and music, has a retro/cinematic mood as a concept, and Rosé directly participated in the album design, increasing the collection value.
Rosé First Single Album -R- is composed of a package box, photobook, random postcard, and random Polaroid that Rosé participated in the design, increasing the collectible value. Pre-orders will begin on March 4th and will be available at online and offline music stores nationwide, including YG Select, on March 16th.
