VICTON 6th Mini Album [Continuous]
An unstoppable love, VICTON's obsession and delusion ‘Howling’
VICTON's sixth mini-album 【Continuous】 has been released.
The story of VICTON's brilliant second act continues, following the record-breaking success of "Missing You" in November 2019, which saw all tracks enter the charts and earned them their first music show win.
The 6th mini-album 【Continuous】 signifies something that continues without end. It captures the lingering attachment, delusions, and obsession of those who still feel connected in the face of a finished love, while also conveying the meaning that emotions such as longing and sadness after a breakup continue and persist, thus incorporating a dual meaning of "connection." Additionally, Do Hanse participated in writing the lyrics for all songs in this album, and the members participated in writing and composing each track, expanding VICTON's musical spectrum.
The title track of 【Continuous】, 'Howling', is a song presented to VICTON once again by composing team Hidden Sound (HSND) and NANO after ‘May’s Sorrow (俉月哀)’. It is an emotional performance piece where the lyrics encapsulate a sad cry for a missed loved one and the obsession and desire to make them stay inside and never be able to escape, all within the word ‘Howling’. This is layered over a hip-hop based beat harmonized with rough rock guitar sounds and sound effects that embody a sad cry.
In addition to the title track, the album features a total of five songs: “Nightmare,” which depicts a nightmare caused by a heartbreak on a longing night where only the things they failed to do come to mind; “All I Know,” which delicately expresses the moment before a breakup through detailed lyrics; “Petal,” an alternative dance song carrying the message of staying together forever just as they are now; and “White Night,” a ballad that blends well with VICTON's emotional vocals. The album's overall structure is completed by a story that flows from the dark night (Nightmare) to the bright night (White Night).

‘Nightmare’ is a song depicting a nightmare on a ‘longing night’ where only the things they failed to do come to mind; it is a dark hip-hop genre with a fresh keyboard root added to future bass. It unfolds in a dreamy atmosphere, singing about the pain of the moment when realizing reality, and the dream that became the only passage to meet a missed lover.

03_ All I Know
Lyrics by Kim Tae-joo, Heo Chan, Do Hanse
Composed, Arranged by Kim Tae-joo
‘All I Know’, a medium-tempo R&B style song with an acoustic sound, is a track that delicately expresses the moment of breakup through every single emotional line. While the realistic and raw breakup situation in the lyrics could be painful and chilling, the members of VICTON sang it with a calm, composed emotion.

‘Petal’ is an alternative dance song with an alternative R&B sensibility, in which Han Seung-woo and Kang Seung-sik participated in writing and composing. It carries the message that just as flowers always bloom and fade, and the season for blooming returns, we should be together forever; it also expresses the wish to remember every moment, just as falling petals do not disappear but continue to pile up.
05_ White Night

‘White Night’ is a song where VICTON's emotional vocals stand out within a calm atmosphere created by a sweet piano riff and soft string melodies, expressing a night where the whole world is dyed white thanks to your light that shines on me even in the pitch-black night. It sings of the heart that will stay by your side so that you, who became the light and filled the dark seasons with love and warmth, will not be lonely.
