PIXY "Dark City” Episode 02 - “Chosen KARMA" Dark Doll PIXY has released their fourth mini-album, “Chosen KARMA." In 2022, PIXY made a name for themselves among global fans by successfully completing a European tour as well as performances at Otakon DC and Anime Weekend Atlanta. Furthermore, they continue their impressive momentum with an upcoming 2022 US tour and an invitation to “Kawaii Kon” in Hawaii. With the addition of new member Linzy, fans are focusing their attention on this album, featuring a renewed PIXY. Just as the title "Chosen KARMA" carries two meanings—a predetermined fate and a specially chosen destiny—PIXY imposes an unavoidable, predetermined fate upon the evil of the "Dark City" and proves that they themselves are special beings with a chosen destiny. The title track "KARMA," reflecting PIXY's unique worldview, is a hybrid remix combining two songs: "Hide&Seek," which tells a story of chasing evil like a game of hide-and-seek, and "Flip a coin," which tells a story of casting a coin of fate to deliver judgment. The track showcases a cinematic progression and a strange harmony created by blending two songs with completely different atmospheres. This unique attempt created a wonderful synergy, blending with PIXY's character, which is sometimes mischievous but, on the other hand, glamorous and intense. This album captures a diverse range of moods, including the funky sound of “Hide&Seek,” the heavy bass sound of the trap beat in “Flip a coin,” the new story created by combining the two, "KARMA," as well as “Falling,” which strongly reflects PIXY's colors, and ”Whisper,” characterized by its catchy guitar riff. The producers from ALLART, who understand PIXY best as artists, and MOFT (Men of the Future), who have been responsible for PIXY's performances since their debut, have once again delivered music and stages that fit them like a tailored suit. PIXY continues to transform into new versions of themselves, reaching a career high with every album. We look forward to this album becoming yet another leap forward for PIXY.
