[세트] 엘즈업 (EL7Z UP) - 미니 1집 [7+UP]

The group 'EL7Z UP' will debut on September 14, 2023, with their first mini-album [7+UP]. Meaning 'the best seven members you have puzzled together,' 'EL7Z UP' is a girl group formed through Mnet's 'Queendom Puzzle.' After fierce competition, Hwiseo, Nana, Yuki, Kei, Yeoreum, Yeonhee, and Yeeun were confirmed as the final seven members, and they now look forward to their first meeting with 'EL7Z U' (official fan club name) as 'EL7Z UP.' EL7Z UP's first mini-album [7+UP] carries the meaning of a high-quality album where the best seven members gathered to create synergy. It will be released in two versions: the 'QUEEN' version, which captures the individual identities of the EL7Z UP members, and the 'PUZZLE' version, which expresses the kitschy and unique side of EL7Z UP. The first mini-album [7+UP] contains a total of five tracks. The title track 'CHEEKY' is a song about surprising the world with EL7Z UP's own unique vibe, characterized by the confidence of the MZ generation who forge their own path regardless of what others say. Additionally, the album includes 'Die for You' and 'Cloud 9,' produced by Ryan Jhun, who has created numerous hits for girl groups; 'Undercover' by producer team Melange from composer Kobee (who wrote ITZY's 'Not Shy'); and 'Hideaway' by KZ, who has worked with numerous girl groups such as WJSN, Apink, Oh My Girl, IZ*ONE, and Kep1er. 1. Die for You "Baby I would die for you" The first track, 'Die for You,' creates a lyrical feel with dreamy synthesizers, featuring an impressive emotional melody line and a groovy bass line. It is a medium-tempo song that creates a mysterious atmosphere through unique vocal chop sounds and the members' tones and harmonies. 2. CHEEKY "I don't care what they say" 'CHEEKY' begins with a powerful bass, creating a refreshing atmosphere that perfectly suits hip choreography. As it moves toward the chorus, most instruments are removed to showcase a smooth melody, while the catchy, contemporary drum beat ties the beginning of the song together, coloring the world with a sensual style and hue. The playful expression that they might look 'Cheeky' when gathered, but they are 'Little freaky-deeky,' represents the unique attitude of 'EL7Z UP.' The song highlights the confidence of the MZ generation who move forward on their own path regardless of others' opinions, with lyrics centered on the idea that there are no wrong answers, so just go wherever your heart leads. 3. Undercover "Whatever, It Don't matter" 'Undercover' is a hip-hop song where powerful bass and lead sounds are the key points. It diversely expresses secret yet thrilling emotions by comparing the familiar yet strange relationship between the members of 'EL7Z UP' and their fans to being 'Undercover.' 4. Hideaway "We shine, we catch fire, it's a riot" Opening with an addictive whistle sound and a lonely-feeling acoustic guitar, 'Hideaway' is characterized by a powerful 808 bass and a strong, explosive melody line. It is a song that contains the ambition to escape a suffocating and boring reality to dream of freedom and ideals and fly higher. 5. Cloud 9 "Every moment we walk together feels dazzling" 'Cloud 9,' featuring charming sweet vocal harmonies, harmonizes unique pluck sounds with acoustic guitar sounds. A heavy drum sound leads the song, while the addictive chorus and hook further highlight the unique vocal colors of 'EL7Z UP.'
