“Inalchi” 1st full-length album
Inalchi is an alternative pop band consisting of two bassists, Young-gyu Jang and Jung-yeop Jeong, drums Cheol-hee Lee, and four pansori vocalists Song-hee Kwon, Yu-jin Shin, I-ho Ahn, and Na-rae Lee.
Inalchi, which was formed in early 2019 and quietly began to spread word of mouth, attracted attention by combining the mysterious harmony, magic-like lyrics, and Ambiguous Dance Company's dazzling movements with the Naver On Stage video 'The Tiger is Coming Down', with well over 10 million views. In particular, the Korea Tourism Organization's Feel The Rhythm of Korea video series was viewed more than 600 million times worldwide, an unprecedented event.
‘Sugungga’ is a pansori version of the story that when the Dragon King falls ill, in order to obtain a rabbit’s liver to use as medicine, he comes out into the growing world and lures a rabbit to take him to the Dragon Palace, and the rabbit uses a trick to deceive the Dragon King and returns alive.
After releasing four singles [Fish], [Rabbit], [Tiger], and [Zara] sequentially starting in December 2019, a regular album containing 11 songs was released digitally in May 2020. In the regular album, you will be able to understand Sugungga's full story, worldview, fatal relationship, and plot of deception and deception.
Pansori solos and choruses intersect and repeat over the drum and bass rhythm that hints at 80's synth-pop and new wave, creating a fresh sound. Band Inalchi presents a slightly special contemporary dance music based on an interesting old story through .
Until now, it has been released only as a digital sound source and LP album, and many fans have requested a CD release, so the CD album has been released this time. This is good news for fans who are looking forward to this album's new songs, especially as three new songs are included.
