Solar - Single [Solar Emotion Part.8]

- This moment captured with warm emotions in chilly autumn, [Solar Emotion Part.8] - Utada Hikaru’s ‘First Love’, the nation’s first love memory manipulation song reinterpreted by Solar * Hello. This is Solar. In this album [Solar Emotion Part.8], I tried to capture my own emotions by beautifully arranging two songs that are really meaningful to me. First of all, the title song 'First Love' is a song with strong appeal by Japanese national singer Hikaru Utada, and I am very honored to be remaking it for the first time through this album. And the song ‘I Will Give You Everything (Love Letter)’ was a song I first heard through the movie OST, and the song itself was delicate and I could clearly feel the pure emotions within it, so it was a song that was attractive as soon as I heard it. Both are truly masterpieces, and I hope that this album will bring comfort and healing to many people as I worked hard to prepare it for this album! thank you ** Following last January, Mamamoo's Solar once again presents warm emotions to listeners with the [Solar Emotion] project. This time, [Solar Emotion Part.8] is a reinterpretation of Utada Hikaru's 'First Love', which gained sensational popularity not only throughout Japan but also around the world, with 'National First Love Memory Manipulation Song', with a sorrowful yet mature sensibility, and filled with Solar's unique deep lingering emotions by directly participating in the lyrics while rewriting the lyrics of the original song into Korean. Although 'First Love' was a song so loved that it sold the most albums in Japan, it was remade for the first time through this [Solar Emotion Part.8] album, raising expectations among many listeners. In particular, the live clip, which is based on the story 'A love letter to my past first love', provides a strong sense of immersion like a movie, but also presents a 'first love memory manipulation song' that is different from the original song. The included song ‘I Will Give Everything to You’ is a representative song by Lee Jang-hee, an icon of 70s pop music famous for the OST of the movie . It captures Solar's sweet tone and at the same time uses the keyword 'love letter' as a subtitle to continue the organic nature of the album. Meanwhile, [Solar Emotion Part.8] released the same cassette tape album as the previous series and presented it as the signature album of the [Solar Emotion] project, further increasing its collection value. ***
