We hope to remain your reality/unreality forever.
The reason we want to be an unreality is simple. A world without war, days where strife, violence, envy, and jealousy have vanished, and a cozy, peaceful day. We hope our music can exist within these useless yet beautiful things that are currently absent from our surroundings for various reasons. Thus, we hope that the three-minute intervals spent listening to each song can take you away from a boring, ordinary, and simple daily life and place you in the midst of a maddeningly intense love, or perhaps in front of a festival stage built upon a green field. We hope that your life may change, even if just a little, even if just once, because of our music. We hope our music becomes a shelter where you can take a deep breath.
The reason we want to be a reality is also simple. As time passes, the time and memories embedded in the music become more precious than the music itself. After we were able to write the name BEAST once again, we will forever remember the cheers we heard the moment the intro of "Bad Girl" started during the first performance of last year's concert. "Ribbon," which made our hearts swell throughout the performance, will now be remembered as something even more special, added to by the time, space, and us from that day; and "Lightless" has become a memory unique to us, created by the overlapping of every stage over a very long period. That is why we will continue to create memories. We love that. As time goes by, the process of releasing albums becomes more difficult, and it likely will continue to be so, but we still intend to keep making music under the name Highlight. Therefore, we hope that this knot called "music" between you and us will bind us strongly to one another for a long time. So that you won't feel anxious, we want to be a reliable, realistic presence that is simply there whenever you look back.
Now that I've said this, it seems meaningless to even distinguish between reality and unreality, but regardless, what we want to say is simple. To you who listen to this music, to you who like us, we hope we can continue to be together in whatever capacity.
So,
In the end, like a part of a song's lyrics,
RIDE OR DIE. To us, that is what matters most.
