DRIPPIN (드리핀) - 미니 3집 [Villain] (A ver.)

- The overwhelming visuals and intense performance of the unstoppable DRIPPIN! - DRIPPIN's own fantasy SF epic, awakened as dark heroes! - The great rebellion of the boys! DRIPPIN's 'Villain,' more powerful than a hero. The 'global super rookies' DRIPPIN (Cha Jun-ho, Hwang Yun-seong, Kim Dong-yun, Lee Hyeop, Joo Chang-uk, Alex, Kim Min-seo), who refreshed the summer of 2021 with [Free Pass], are returning with their third mini-album [Villain]. While their first single [Free Pass], which highlighted DRIPPIN's signature freshness and lovely performance, proved their potential as global rookies by entering the Billboard World Digital Song Sales chart, their third mini-album [Villain]—their first move of 2022—is an album that fully captures the unique charm of DRIPPIN as they cast off their boyishness and undergo an intense transformation. With an intriguing tracklist centered around a dark hero concept and unrivaled visuals with strong characterization, they are ready to captivate fans both domestically and internationally. The title track 'Villain' is a song that showcases DRIPPIN's powerful and cool expression, comparing the passion of racing toward a goal to a 'Villain,' with lyrics such as 'I'll overwhelm you until you can't even breathe,' 'I'll set it on fire again today and break you down,' and 'I can't stop, Right, you can't avoid it, why.' The album's composition—starting with the intro track '7Villaz' as the concept sound of the third mini-album [Villain], followed by the title track 'Villain,' and continuing with 'Switch,' 'SHY,' 'Delusion,' and 'Remember' to complete the newly awakened dark heroes of DRIPPIN—contains the ambition of DRIPPIN, the charming 21st-century 'Villains,' to make their own music and performance known to the world.
