‘IN:VITE U To New World’
An invitation to the new world encountered by PENTAGON, a space that is as dangerous as it is alluring.
PENTAGON's 12th Mini Album [IN:VITE U]
PENTAGON, who has sung of honest and confident love in every album with tracks like ‘Shine’, ‘Daisy’, and ‘DO or NOT’, makes a comeback with their 12th mini album [IN:VITE U], which adds self-awareness and inner maturity. Coming approximately 10 months after [LOVE or TAKE], PENTAGON's 12th mini album [IN:VITE U] combines ‘INVITE’ and ‘VITE’ (meaning ‘fast’), carrying the captivating title “An invitation to the new world encountered by PENTAGON, falling quickly for you whom I met there,” while delivering more mature music and performances. The new world PENTAGON invites you to is a space where a new definition of love unfolds—one where PENTAGON has realized that love, like the flow of time, arrives and stays naturally, creating fragments of moments before flowing away once again. Within this new love, PENTAGON sings of growth and change, as well as the sincerity and preciousness of irreversible moments. This also signifies that the album fully captures PENTAGON's capabilities, which have been solidly built internally. With PENTAGON members credited in the lyrics and composition of all six tracks, they have not only diversified their musical colors more than before but also increased the authenticity of the songs by honestly capturing their own stories, which have deepened through inner maturity.
The title track ‘Feelin’ Like’ is the song that best expresses PENTAGON's changed attitude, brilliantly decorating the first chapter where another story of PENTAGON unfolds. A trendy and rhythmic melody over a heavy, heart-pounding beat showcases PENTAGON's delicate and alluring vocals without filter, creating a strange addictiveness. ‘Feelin’ Like’ is expected to paint a fresh and high-quality stage through PENTAGON's mature and chic visuals—which have not been seen before—as well as storytelling using various objects and a performance characterized by relaxed movements and mood that stand out amidst the intensity. In particular, the music video for the new song reinterprets objects of ‘temptation’ expressed in ancient artworks with a modern sensibility, delivering PENTAGON's seductive and strong attraction that stimulates the five senses, fully exerting a unique charm that makes viewers feel as though they have no choice but to accept their invitation.

01. Feelin’ Like
Composed by Ryan J, Kristin Marie, Vegard Hurum, Jop Pangemanan
Lyrics by HAEE, KINO, Jinho, Wooseok
Arranged by Ryan J, Vegard Hurum
A perfect harmony of intensely striking Pop and R&B genres that creates strong addictiveness from the intro, ‘Feelin’ Like’ cites the story of Galatea, the female statue of Pygmalion reborn through a kiss, to express awakening, pleasure, and arousal in their own language, capturing the new way of love encountered by PENTAGON. In particular, members Jinho, Kino, and Wooseok participated in the lyrics, clearly demonstrating their aspect as a self-producing group, and begin their own more sophisticated story with a style and performance different from the music PENTAGON has shown previously.
02.
한탕 (One Shot)
Composed by Wooseok, NATHAN, Shinwon
Lyrics by Wooseok, Shinwon
Arranged by NATHAN, MILLENNIUM
Like a seasoning that cannot be left out of delicious food, Pentagon's bold and great attempt to capture the tastes of listeners continues. An alternative rock genre track, ‘One Shot’ strongly captures everyone's ears from the start with a provocative and flashy hard rock guitar riff sound. Expressing our lives metaphorically as being in a state of having the final bullet loaded and attempting a "one shot" without fear, it contains an exciting atmosphere and explosive energy. The subject ‘you’ appearing in ‘One Shot’ allows listeners to assign diverse meanings depending on what goal or person they think of, doubling the fun of the song.
03. The Game
Composed by Wooseok, NATHAN, yunji, HOHO
Lyrics by Wooseok
Arranged by NATHAN, yunji
An electronic genre track with provocative glitch synth sounds and rock elements, ‘The Game’ compares the tension-filled happenings of life to a game, expressing Pentagon's own relaxed attitude of laughing off any situation pleasantly and wittily. In particular, including the intense and addictive hook lyrics ‘Live more, run hard, blow it all,’ and the addition of opera elements throughout the song, it imprints Pentagon's more unique and matured musical color.
04. Call My Name
Composed by Kino, Kim Sion, Milano
Lyrics by Kino, HAEE, Wooseok
Arranged by Kim Sion, Son Yosep, Hyeogdu Choi
Kino and producer Kim Sion, who built their own musical style and demonstrated high synergy by attempting various genres such as ‘When Rain Falls in the Night’ and ‘Run Away (HAPPINESS KR Ver.),’ have teamed up once again. Containing the strong tension felt in the moment of the friction of lips pronouncing my name, this song sings of a deeper story between each other, evolving from the motif of ‘voice’ found in Kino's previously released mixtape track ‘Voicegasm.’
05. 관람차 (Sparkling Night)
Composed by Kino, ROAMER DOZE
Lyrics by Kino, Wooseok
Arranged by ROAMER DOZE
Expressing a Ferris wheel spinning and shining at the center of a beach where countless stars flow, a sparkling amusement park, and our beautiful night, this song was written and composed with the participation of member Kino, filling it with his characteristic faint and emotional atmosphere. ‘Sparkling Night’ compares the feeling of not being able to easily get off because the scenery is too beautiful, despite knowing that one must eventually get off as time passes, to ‘meeting’ and ‘parting.’ In particular, the honest lyrics over a calm and warm melody that contrasts with the poignant emotions provide a high sense of immersion for the listeners.
06. BAD
Composed by Wooseok, Siixk Jun
Lyrics by Wooseok
Arranged by Siixk Jun
A man who loves his partner more than anyone, yet his situation and those around him say that breaking up is the only answer. Is letting the other person go the answer? A song containing our familiar and bad breakup story, speaking of the "wicked consideration" of wishing for the other person's happiness until the moment of parting. ‘BAD,’ which member Wooseok participated in writing and composing, is a song where a simple yet concise guitar riff, a catchy melody, and classic, minimal sources form the main rhythm, evoking deep empathy and comfort for everyone facing a breakup or experiencing the pain of one.
