Stray Kids will release their new full-length album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)' on June 2nd.
Stray Kids ranked first on the US Billboard main album chart 'Billboard 200' for two consecutive times with the mini albums 'ODDINARY' and 'MAXIDENT', released in March and October 2022, respectively. 'MAXIDENT' surpassed 3 million copies in cumulative sales based on the Circle Chart within a month of its release, becoming JYP Entertainment's first triple million-selling album, and the title song 'CASE 143' (Case One for Three) is enjoying long-running popularity as its music video exceeded 100 million views on YouTube last March.
Recently, they successfully completed their second world tour 'MANIAC' with a total of 42 concerts in 18 regions around the world. They opened in Seoul in April of last year, and after a year-long journey, they entered the KSPO DOME in Seoul and the Kyocera Dome in Osaka, Japan, and achieved the significant achievement of being the second K-pop male group to hold and sell out a stadium concert in North America, re-proving their strong global popularity and influence.
In this way, Stray Kids, who have made their presence known in the global music market and at the same time carved meaningful footprints in the group's growth history and firmly established themselves as a 'K-pop trending group', will make their first comeback in 2023 with the full-length album that everyone has been waiting for in June.
The new album '★★★★★ (5-STAR)', which has a unique charm that seems to bear the 'Stray Kids' seal right from the name, is a regular album released about two years after the 2nd full-length album 'NOEASY' in August 2021. Those who have topped the 'Billboard 200' chart twice with their self-produced music are taking an even greater leap forward with another well-made full-length album.
The album trailer video, first released on April 28, well captured Stray Kids' unique and eccentric identity. The exciting self-introduction of the eight members, Bang Chan, Reno, Changbin, Hyunjin, Han, Felix, Seungmin, and I.N, who appeared with unusual visuals, is based on the game 'I AM GROUND' that they played while sitting around with friends as children, heralding the return of the 'concept restaurant group' and exciting K-pop fans around the world.
This summer, those who shine the brightest are coming because it is special!!
