Kihyun 1st Single Album - Kihyun's first solo album 7 years after MONSTA X's debut, the first journey - 'VOYAGER', the paradise dreamed of by traveler Kihyun... transformation into a refreshing rock vocal MONSTA X's Kihyun is releasing a solo album seven years after his debut. 'VOYAGER' is an album that unfolds the story of Kihyun setting off on a journey toward a new world from a 'traveler's perspective.' The first world traveler Kihyun encounters is a 'paradise' of his own, dreamed of and drawn by Kihyun. A personal paradise where one can briefly escape from a tiring reality, a place like a comma encountered through imagination. He sets off to find songs within the time and space he missed most purely. Among them, the title track 'VOYAGER' delivers a condensed version of the world traveler Kihyun dreams of. It is a song with a refreshing band sound that soothes a weary heart, emphasizing Kihyun's crisp vocals and allowing listeners to feel his hidden musical persistence. As it expresses the honest emotions felt during the process of reaching an imaginary destination, it is sufficient to feel his deepened emotional range. Kihyun's appearance as a rock band vocalist is also impressive. The music video vividly depicts a slice of a dream that breaks away from the same daily routine. Through the image of rock band Kihyun, he plans to reveal a different charm from his time with MONSTA X. The process of finding the true self is reflected throughout the album. While the title track 'VOYAGER' portrays the splendor of rock band vocalist Kihyun, the two B-side tracks handle another axis of emotion. ' , (COMMA)', for which Kihyun took part in writing the lyrics, offers lonely yet warm comfort, while 'RAIN' delivers the emotion of parting more intensely through a mysterious and mystical atmosphere. Kihyun has signaled a transformation into a storyteller who talks about life. Separate from flashy devices and hype, the message of this album—finding true value within oneself—is enough to garner empathy. Although he sings of the themes in his own heart, it is ultimately a story for everyone who has no choice but to live while forgetting their dreams amidst a fierce reality. Kihyun's 'VOYAGER' sings of 'what is most like me.' We look forward to his next chapter, now that he has gained a solid composure enough to expand his own world.
